Grades 7-8 Physical Education Curriculum

The grade 7 and grade 8 physical education curriculum of Ridley Middle School is comprised of four areas of study through a series of thirty lessons throughout the year.

They include:

Health Related Fitness
Team Sports and Game Strategies
Individual and Lifetime Activities
Adventures in Physical Education
A 30 week Lesson Guide to Health-Related and Skill-Related Physical Fitness for sixth grade students is attached .

The Ridley Middle School physical education faculty believes that student safety, personal respect for others and self, and academic achievement are essential components to providing a quality physical education program. The following grading, safety, and life skills policies provide a framework for achieving this goal.
