One Step Closer to a Cure! Ridley Creek 5K Run and Walk In Memory of Sean Curry Event Information: Date: May 12th 2012 Time: Starts at 9am with Registration at 7:30am Ridley Creek State Park
In early October 2007, Sean unexpectedly had a seizure and was rushed to the hospital. Upon a brain scan, doctors found a brain tumor and had to operate immediately. The doctors removed the tumor which tested positive for Glioblastoma multiform, cancer. The tumor was removed but unfortunately the tentacles had attached to other brain cells. Sean underwent intense radiation and chemotherapy. Unfortunately, Sean passed away on April 26th, 2009. Sean had an infectious personality and many who loved him. Through your support, we can get “One Step Closer to a Cure”!

February 2, 2012 Dear Friend: Breast cancer is a disease that has affected many, and I am no exception. My mother, Valerie Ryan, has been battling breast cancer for the past five years. A lifelong resident of Delaware County, Val is loved and appreciated by those who know her. A positive force, Val has given to the community in many ways. Whether it is volunteering to coach various youth softball and basketball teams, or teaching troubled children for the Delaware County Intermediate Unit, my mother has defined the term “good neighbor.”
On March 30, 2012 we will be holding a benefit for my mother at the Lazaretto Ballroom. We now ask the community to support my mother in her time of need. Your company can help us by providing funds in the form of a monetary donation or a donation of goods and services.
