Band and Chorus

Amosland Music Program General/Vocal Music Teacher - Mrs. Maureen Boettger General/Vocal Music Teacher - Mr. Jason Noll Instrumental/Band Teacher - Mrs. Theresa O'Brien General/Vocal music lessons are taught by Mrs. Maureen Boettger once a week for students in 1st through 5th grades. Two concerts are performed yearly by the students along with the Amosland Band. The winter concert for grades 4 and 5 will be December 12, 2011 at 7:00 PM. The spring concert for grades 2 and 3 will be May 7, 2012 at 7:00 PM. Students in grades 3, 4 and 5 are eligible for instrumental lessons taught by Mrs. Theresa O'Brien. The instruments taught in the program include flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto sax, tenor sax, trumpet, trombone, baritone, and percussion. Piano, guitar and string instrument lessons are not offered. For more information about the instrumental program please click the following: Instrumental Music Information Instrumental Registration Form Instrumental students who progress to certain levels can be selected for the Amosland Band, District Band and District Jazz Band. Band students will have practice before and after school as noted on the Amosland monthly calendar and the calendar on this webpage. Band Parents please review the calendar on this webpage for practice and concert dates. District Chorus students are selected for auditions by Mrs. Maureen Boetgger. District Chorus practice is on Wednesday afternoon from 2:00-3:30 PM starting sometime after January. Please refer to the Amosland Monthly Calendar.
