Ridley School District: Digital Learning Platform to be Future Ready for All Students

"The Ridley School District was losing students to an online school—the overall numbers represented a small percentage of the total student enrollment, but a budgetary loss approaching $1 million.

In an effort to understand the issue, the district sought direct feedback from students and parents. The responses indicated a need to create flexible, personalized learning schedules for students busy with extracurricular activities and for those who were struggling or missing school due to prolonged illness.

The district’s digital learning platform now lets teachers create online lessons. Students can learn entirely online or blend classroom and digital instruction. A counselor provides support, training and guidance."
